Clear, sweet, viscous humectant that draws and holds water in the skin and hair. Found in nearly every cream, lotion, face wash, toner, soap and toothpaste, typically at 2 to 10%. Cosmetic brands usually buy refined vegetable glycerin of 99.5% purity to IP, or USP 99.7%.
