Polydimethylsiloxane silicone fluid that gives a silky, non-greasy slip, reduces tackiness and adds shine and frizz control. Used in hair serums, conditioners, creams, lotions, sunscreens and primers. Viscosity is chosen by feel: 50 to 100 cSt for light lotions, 350 cSt general purpose, 1000 cSt and higher for richer serums. Typical use is 0.5 to 5%, higher in serums.
