Brilliant Blue FCF (INS 133)

Water soluble synthetic triarylmethane dye giving a bright greenish blue, with good light and heat stability. Used alone in blue drinks, icings and candies, and with tartrazine to make greens. FSSAI permits it in the Appendix A categories, typically up to 100 mg/kg of final food singly or in combination. It absorbs moisture, so packs should stay sealed.
